Repton Al Barsha offers an academically ambitious curriculum designed to extend and challenge our pupils. This is based on the British National Curriculum from Early Years to Year 13. Across all year groups,  we enhance this curriculum to ensure all our children are fully prepared for a successful future.

At Repton Al Barsha we create a nurturing environment where each child is encouraged to reach their potential and to contribute to school life. We are a high achieving school that supports the inclusion of children from all backgrounds and abilities.

As part of the Admissions process we invite all parents to meet with our Senior Leadership Team, and assess all children. Please see the steps below for more information.

  • Step 2: Visit Us

Tours of the school are available daily at a variety of times. Whilst we will always strive to accommodate walk-ins, we would encourage you to book a tour and avoid disappointment.

To request a tour please contact us.

For those who are unable to attend the scheduled tours, the school will be pleased to arrange tours outside these times by prior arrangement.

  • Step 3: Register For A Place

Along with the Registration Form you will need to submit a copy of your child’s passport and a copy of their latest school report which shows the year group in which they have been studying (if applicable).

Please note that your children are not officially registered until the completed registration form is received.

Once we have received your child’s registration, you will receive an invitation for your child to attend one of our assessment sessions.

  • Step 4: Assessments

We conduct age appropriate assessments prior to offering your child a place at Repton Al Barsha. The assessment is an opportunity for us to get to know your child better and we look at the whole picture in terms of their social competence, maturity and behaviour.

For Early Years applicants (FS1 and FS2), we invite you and your child to one of our monthly taster sessions for an observed play session.

More formal, age appropriate assessments in reading, mathematics and English are usually coupled with a taster morning spent in school for Years 1-13. Our whole process is designed to ensure, as far as possible, that children who are accepted can thrive both academically and socially at Repton.

For international applicants who are unable to attend an assessment in person we can arrange for remote assessments to be completed. For more information, please speak to a member of our admissions department.

Following the Assessment, you will receive a decision via email within three working days.
